디지털로 촬영된 사진 이미지를 아날로그 

페인팅에 접목하려고 시도했습니다.

자연에서 채취한 디지털 사진 이미지가

인간이 그려낸 아날로그 이미지와 어떻게 

상생되고 접목되는가가 주된 관심입니다.

그래서 페인팅과 사진과의 콜라보에서

페인팅은 흑백의 농담이나 색채가 비교적 

추상적인 것에 주목을 했고 사진의 사실성이 페인팅과  어떻게 조화를 이루는가에 있습니다.

각기 상이한 이 두 미디어가 소리, 리듬, 울림, 질감의 조형미를 과연 드러낼 수 있는가가 

제 작업의 목표입니다.

I am attempting to integrate digitally captured photographic images into analog paintings.

My primary interest lies in how digital photographic images taken from nature and analog images drawn by humans coexist and merge.

Therefore, in the collaboration of painting and photography in my works, the painting pays particular attention to the gradation of black and white or relatively abstract colors, and how it harmonizes with the photograph.

The goal of my work is to see if these two different media can indeed reveal the sculptural beauty of sound, rhythm, resonance, and texture.
